The Hill-Rom P280 Overlay:

  • Meets the patient’s individual needs through the flexibility of having the choice of therapies (alternating or continuous low pressure)
  • Provides effective pressure ulcer prevention and treatment
  • Ensures alternating low pressure using highly conformable urethane bladders
  • Has improved patient comfort with adjustable cycle times and firmness or softness
  • Improves patient and caregiver safety with features including automatic lock-out, safety alarms and easy to use transport mode
  • Maintains patient mobility

Three zones: Static head zone, alternating low or constant low pressure sacrum, dedicated 5° sloped air heel zone
Unlike other typical overlays, P280 provides differentiated zones to address the individual needs of the patient’s most vulnerable areas.

A firm area at the sacrum zone helps assist with patient mobilization and bed egress.

Easy CPR connector
With the Hill-Rom® P280 Overlay, caregivers simply have to disconnect the connector from the control unit to create a rapid CPR.

Adjustable alternating cycle time and comfort settings
The cycle time can be adjusted to adapt to the patient’s medical condition and provides increased comfort when sleeping. Comfort settings help to adjust firmness or softness to patient’s preferences.

Safety alarms
Caregivers are informed of any malfunction.

Automatic Lock-out
This security feature helps maintain the patient’s prescription unchanged and prevents it being inadvertenly changed.

360° welded detachable cover
Helps preventing fluid ingress and provides improved quality as a detachable cover is designed to facilitate cleaning and maintenance.

Transport mode for ten hours
A key benefit to assist caregivers in their daily care: The static mode ensures the patient is supported when transported to X-rays or other areas of the facility.

Manually adjustable with five settings
Pressure redistribution is provided in alternating low pressure mode and constant low pressure mode, adjustable cycle time to adapt to patient’s condition, and to contribute to his increased comfort.  Comfort settings help to adjust firmness or softness to patient’s preferences. Overinflating function in sit-up-position helps with mobilization. P-max enables nursing procedures.
