Date: 29 Sep. -11
Time: 09:00 - 18:00
Where: RCN, 20 Cavendish Square
London, United Kingdom
This conference welcomes HCAs, APs and registered nursing staff working across the acute, community and independent care sectors. If you who have an interest in patient safety and wish to understand and learn more about the factors that can both facilitate or impede improvements in managing and delivering a safe service to patients wherever they receive care and treatment join us at this event.
Through a series of plenary sessions the conference will explore high impact actions for patient safety; the role of human factors in delivering safe care (teamwork, interpersonal skills, system design); and issues of accountability and responsibility for patient safety.
A number of interactive sessions are targeted at improving the safety of patient care in relation to safe nutrition and hydration, managing and preventing pressure ulcers, and recognising the deteriorating patient.
This conference will provide delegates with information on both the opportunities and the challenges facing frontline clinical staff in the delivery of a safe service to patients/clients/users.
There will be opportunities to network with colleagues from across the UK to share ideas, experiences, interventions and enthusiasm for patient safety.
