Hospital/Acute Care has varying care needs
Since the start in 1929, we have gained a wealth of experience in enhancing the outcomes for patients and caregivers in the hospital environment. Many products in our extensive portfolio can be utilised to facilitate the daily patient care and to reduce the length of stay.
On most hospital wards, the need for patient transfers is extensive, for example, in or out of the bed, to and from CT Scan, operation tables, bed, toilet or for rehabilitation.
Research shows that the great need for patient transfers causes hospital staff to experience their work environment as very heavy and physically challenging. Caregiver injuries related to patient transfers are very common, and we are happy to offer courses in risk assessment and transfer techniques specially designed for hospital staff.
