As you may be aware, Liko joined the Hill-Rom family in October 2008. With effect from 1 April 2009, Liko (UK) Ltd and Hill-Rom UK Ltd will create a new joint organisation, to be known as Hill-Rom Ltd. Liko will remain as the name of Hill-Rom’s lift and transfer solutions.
Hill-Rom and Liko share a culture devoted to innovative solutions and improving outcomes for patients and caregivers. Together we will now offer the market an unsurpassed patient handling solution with bed frames, surfaces, architectural products and lifting equipment. Our solutions both fit and extend across the care continuum, from acute care through nursing homes and special schools to home care.
At this point in time there will be no change with your direct contact from either Hill-Rom or Liko as we intend to continue our specialist approach at sales level to ensure your expectations and aspirations are met. As the integration progresses, we will seek opportunities to operate from a common head office and business details such as e-mail addresses, bank accounts and telephone numbers will change. When this happens, this information will be shared with all our customers.
Our new, larger organisation will provide an even better coverage of the UK. This means that a sales person, clinical specialist or service engineer is always close at hand ready to fulfil our mission: “Every day, we make a positive difference in the lives of patients, and those who care for them”.
