The AvantGuard® 800 LTC Medical Bed fits perfectly into long-term care facilities thanks to the innovative solutions, robust design and the Meltis room concept.
The AvantGuard® 800 LTC Bed will save precious nursing time spent performing routine tasks.
A sliding backrest and the autocontour function help keep the resident correctly positioned in bed for greater comfort and to reduce skin shear and friction.
Enhanced repositioning and pressure distribution can also be achieved using the electric Trendelenburg function.
With the Hill-Rom Meltis range of bed headboards and footboards and other furniture, each resident room can be completely personalised. A wide range of materials and colours allow the perfect contrast to assist visually impaired residents with spatial definition and safe room navigation.

Resident-friendly controls
The controls for the AvantGuard® 800 LTC Bed are
designed for residents with reduced dexterity and
impaired vision. Using big size tactile icons and
high colour contrast, the recognition of each bed
function is facilitated.
Facilitating everyday care
The central brake, the linen holder, the 100 mm
casters, the bed’s smooth surfaces, removable panels
are intended to facilitate the caregiver’s
everyday tasks as well as bed cleaning and decontamination.
Increasing safety and autonomy
Choose between metal and ExtendGuard side rails,
depending on your needs. Egress handles are an
excellent complement for both side rails.
They improve resident safety when transferring to
and from the bed and facilitate resident mobilisation.
Meltis Head and Footboards
The combination of the Hill-Rom AvantGuard® 800 LTC bed and the head and footboards from
the Hill-Rom Meltis range convert the resident room into a safe and functional environment
which also offers a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the well-being of the resident.
