Choosing the right therapy surface is very important when trying to avoid and treat pressure ulcers. The Hill-Rom® ClinActiv Plus Therapy Surface System is based on a number of innovations that makes it unique in the market.

Real-time pressure adjustment
Unlike conventional dynamic mattress systems that may take up to 20 minutes for cushion pressure to adjust after patient repositioning, the advanced ClinActiv Plus Therapy Surface System:
- Adjusts internal cushion pressures instantly, regardless of patient size, shape, weight or position.
- Creates optimal patient immersion at all times.
Five independent low-pressure zones
The five independent low-pressure zones including a dedicated heel zone with continuous low pressure help create optimal patient I-mmersion™ Therapy at all times.
Flexibility in choosing therapy mode
Choose between Continuous Low Pressure or Alternating Low Pressure therapy. The Hill-Rom® ClinActiv Plus therapy surface provides real immersion therapy in both continuous and alternating low pressure modes.
Continuous Low Pressure mode
In this therapy mode, the complete surface stays in continuous low pressure, delivering optimal support and patient immersion.
Alternating Low Pressure mode
In this therapy mode, the middle section of the surface alternates in a “1 in 2” cycle, providing alternating low pressure.
